Returns Policy
Welligogs offer a no quibble return policy if you decide you do not want the item purchased , please ensure you let us know within 7 days of receiving your item by phone or email. You must return goods in the same condition as received , we would sugest you do not remove tags and labels untill you have tried on the items and are happy with the fit. We cannot accept returns on boots or clothes that have been worn outside so please check you are satisfied with the fit of the product before doing so.
You may return product for exchange or refund, however you need to pay the return postage to us and also the return postage to you if it is a exchange. If you are requesting a refund we do not refund the original postage cost to you.
Through your post office:
Leather Boots and Wellington boots can be heavy. The best way to do this for adult boots is to send it by Standard Parcel Force (Small Parcel Receipted) through your local post office (e.g. typically one pair of ladies boots depending on size can be anything from 1.5kg for basic printed wellies up to 2.5 kg for our new Hi-Grip wellies or Leather boots) it will cost between £5.30 and £9 depending on the weight . You should check with the post office as to what level of compensation is included in the charge . Basic Standard Parcel Service carries compensation up to £28 , if you are sending leather boots or expensive clothing back it pays to add "enhanced compensation" to this standard charge up to the level you are comfortable with.
Keep your receipt as proof of posting in the advent of you needing to make a claim. We have found over the years of using this service with the post office that it is the most reliable and cost effective way to do it , so there is no need to send them 1st class or recorded or special delivery as you are just wasting money - you are adequately covered with the built in compensation.
We cannot process any returns unless we receive the item back.
Light items
If you are sending a smaller lighter item send it 2nd class only.
You should always ask your post office which is the less expensive way to send as rates are applied differently by different post office staff and you can be charged a lot unneccessarily.
Important: Ask for, and, keep proof of posting in order that you have compensation coverage if article goes missing. We do not accept responsibility for returned product until we receive it.
You can re-use the original plastic bag you received your items in or any light weight packaging is okay, our products do not damage in the mail so there is no need to purchase padded post envelopes or expensive cardboard boxing. We send our boots and clothing out in a box or cardboard sleeve - we recommend you do the same when returning

Please copy the invoice you received if possible and return with a short note explaining your requirements and also your phone number.
We do not advise customers to order multiple sizes for purpose of checking sizing with the view of returning unwanted pairs - we publish extensive size chart to solve this problem - we advise people to use the internal foot length measurements on the product page to check thier own foot length before ordering.
Return for refund of unwanted pairs ordered like this will incurr a administration surcharge.
Exchanging only
You may also change design if you wish or if your replacement is not in stock. Send a note or copy of invoice with your purchase advising your desired exchange design and size to the above address and we will endeavour to send your replacement as soon as possible.
Our return postage to you is £5.95 for smaller items - leather boots are £9.50 to allow for adequate insurance. Very smaller light items will cost less. If you have ordered online or by phone we can charge the card you originally used. If you ordered at a show enclose your cheque for £5.95 or your credit card details - if you are not happy to send your credit card details you may ask us to phone you for them.

Faulty product
If you believe you have a legitimate defect on any of our product please do not automatically return, you must phone our office on 01785 662277 or email details of the problem, we will advise regarding your complaint. We do not refund on faulty items that have been worn, we will In the event of a legitimate fault replace the same product and size or the same size in a alternative design if the design purchased is not available.
We do not refund return postage costs unless authorised by head office only.
Warranty
All Rubber boots are guaranteed for 6 months from the purchase date. We do suggest you keep proof of purchase for this purpose, no warranty offered if we are unable to verify your purchase from us. We only replace (not refund) worn boots or product, if the same design is not available we will replace with a different design of the same quality product. The warranty period elapses 6 months from original purchase date regardless how often the product has been used.The warranty period covers only the original purchased item.
We Guarantee our Leather boots for 12 months from date of purchase providing the care instructions have been reasonably followed. Please read our Care Instructions page for more detail here. We do provide these care instructions inside the box on all leather boot orders.
